No. The specialist recommends the right type of support after understanding the child’s needs and the family’s goals. ABA may be part of the plan when it suits the case.
Tools may include VB MAPP, ABLLS R, CARS 2 and ADOS 2. A qualified specialist selects the tool that suits the child’s age and the reason for assessment.
